Fudan - Warwick Joint Seed Fund
We are excited to announce the new round of the Fudan-Warwick Joint Seed Fund, a collaborative initiative designed to ignite groundbreaking research and drive global impact. Fudan University and the University of Warwick jointly support pioneering projects that push the boundaries of knowledge and innovation.
The Fudan-Warwick Joint Seed Fund will provide vital early-stage funding to ambitious research initiatives that blend diverse expertise and explore novel approaches. By empowering researchers to explore high-potential ideas, this fund aims to accelerate discoveries that address global challenges and contribute to societal advancement.
The collaboration between colleagues at Fudan and at Warwick is intended to support and lead to:
-Virtual activities in the first instance, and up to one visit to Warwickandone visit to Fudan by staff/research students if required;
-The submission of at least one joint co-authored publication (or equivalent output);
-Targeting a suitable scheme for the submission of a joint application for external funding.
Key Dates
Applications open: Tuesday 17th March 2026
Applications close: Wednesday 15th April 2026, 6:00 pm BST time
Advice to successful applicants: w/c 8th June 2026
Awards begin: 15th June 2026 at Fudan and 1st August 2026 at Warwick
Awards finish: 4th December 2026 at Fudan and 31st July 2027 at Warwick
