About Yale Summer Session
Students can enjoy top-notch academics from an Ivy League school, in-person or virtually, in either of our two 5-week sessions, or build their English language and professional skills in a non-credit English Language Institute program.
Yale College Courses for Credit - In-Person & Online
Session A: Monday, May 25 – Friday, June 26, 2026
Session B: Monday, June 29 – Friday, July 31, 2026
Search for Courses & Programs: Our courses for 2026 will be available in mid-December, 2025. You can view last summer’s list now to get an idea of courses that were offered. Use the searchable database found on the “Course List” page. Our database allows you and your students to search for courses by keyword, subject, dates, mode (in-person or online), and meeting time.
The English Language Institute
Session B: Monday, June 29 – Friday, July 31, 2026
The English Language Institute is for students who want to build their English fluency or develop their professional skills.
Application Instructions
The Yale Summer Session application will open Thursday, January 15, 2026.

We encourage your students to apply early. Courses will fill the closer it gets to summer.
Fee Waiver PINs are being tested and they will be sent in December.
Costs
The course or program a student chooses will determine the cost. For the regular list of our tuition and fees, please visit this page.
We are still waiting for confirmation of the housing and health insurance cost. I will email the partner cost sheet once those numbers have been confirmed.
Billing
University billing is set up so students will be billed directly. If your office will need to be invoiced, please let me know. Full payment is required before students start their program. If your office is paying the fees on behalf of the students, please let your student(s) know to disregard the bill they receive by email.
The Residential Program
We pride ourselves on our availability of on-campus housing for students and our residential programming. The section on our website titled “Experience” will have a wealth of information for students coming to campus. Students must live in on-campus housing to be able to receive the tuition discount. Students will check in on the Sunday before the Monday start of their program. All dates can be found on this page.
