Do Research in One of Freie Universtaet Berlin's Excellence Programs or Research Focus Areas - New Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Programs


First call for application for two new research fellowship programs for international postdocs called “COFUND” and “POINT”, respectively.

Application deadline: 31 August 2011


The Dahlem Research School at Freie Universitaet Berlin has established two new research fellowship programs for international researchers called “COFUND” and “POINT”. The purpose of both programs is to reinforce the international dimension of junior researchers by supporting highly-qualified postdocs from abroad.


COFUND

The program COFUND is co-funded by the Marie Curie CoFund program of the European Commission.  Fellowship holders will be enabled to carry out their own research project in one of Freie Universitaet’s Excellence Programs.

For this purpose, Dahlem Research School offers a number of Postdoctoral Research Fellowships

The Participating Excellence Programs include:
. Starting in January 2012, each research fellowship is awarded for fifteen months.


TOPOI
Spatial Environment and Conceptual Design, Constructing Historical Space, Perception and Representation, Theory and Science.

POINT

The second new research fellowship program launched by Dahlem Research School at Freie Universitaet Berlin is called “POINT”, which stands for Postdoc International.

Dahlem Research School offers 5 Postdoctoral Fellowships. Starting in November 2011, each research fellowship is awarded for twelve-months to support postdocs conducting research on one of the topics open for application of Freie Universität’s Research Focus Areas.
